a collection of Short Films INSPIRED BY THE BEAUTY AND THE UNKNOWN OF SPACE.
What would you get if you asked a diverse group of filmmakers to create a film based on the word 'space'? The result is Transmissions, a compilation of short films inspired by the beauty of the unknown universe.
Produced by composer and award-winning sound designer Kevin Matley, the films are an exploration of art and astronomy told through the lens of nine filmmakers. Each vignette varies in both genre and theme, and explores concepts from vastness and perseverance to isolation and the human spirit.
